Pumpkin Picking

The Britts went to Aolun Farms to pick pumpkins today.

 It was a very hot fall day in Hawaii.

Riis rode her first horse and loved it. She was very proud of herself, because the last time she tried to ride she was too scared.

Riis and Daddy picked pumpkins, one for each of us and then we sat in the shade and had roasted corn.

Blue Angels Air-show

The Britts went to the Kaneohe Bay Marine Corp base to watch the air-show. We were just in time for the Blue Angels. Riis liked to watch the planes, but she did not like the sound. Boy were they loud! There was a small carnival where Riis got to go on some rides with some new friends. We had a really fun day.

A Field Trip to Discovery Center

Mommy had to go on a field trip with the 1st graders today. I took Riis with me and met up with Asia and Kaheou. The kids and mommies had a blast! Everyone Riis goes to the Discovery center she loves something new. This time she LOVED the big bubble maker. Riis is on a bubble kick lately.

Riis has become a lover of the backyard. She is either "mowing" the lawn with the seed spreader, harvesting kale, watering the grass or Cano and Rockie, or golfing.

Riis at Keiki Steps

Riis and Mommy have been lucky enough to get to Keiki Steps quit a bit this year. This month's theme is All About Me. The kids are reading, writing, and doing different forms of art that is all about them. Riis enjoys Morning Business time when the kids get to sing and dance. Although Riis does not know how to manipulate the calendar, she is always the first to volunteer to come to the front to help. Riis is also the first to volunteer when the teacher asks students to come and share their art. I think she may like attention :)
